Ensembles
At South Garland High School, we offer a variety of ensembles for students to participate in and gain performing experience. Check out each ensemble below!
SG Titan Marching Band
The Titan Marching Band is one of the biggest organizations on campus and the sound of South Garland! Actively performing at all Titan Football Games, Pep-Rallies, Marching Competitions and UIL Marching and other community events.
Concert Ensembles
The South Garland Titan Band is comprised of two concert ensembles, Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band. All band members who participate in band at South Garland will be placed in a concert ensemble by audition.
Titan Jazz Band
The Titan Jazz Band is an actively performing group frequently touring Elementary Schools and Retirement Communities in Garland. This ensembles gives the opportunity for students to perform or learn a new instrument. The Titan Jazz Band is the under the direction of Ms. Dajia Simmons.
Percussion
The South Garland Percussion section performs with all ensembles in the Drumline and Concert Ensemble Percussion. Students also have the opportunity to perform in Percussion Ensembles in the UIL Solo & Ensemble contest. The percussion section is under the direction of Mr. Miguel Pimentel.
